He just seems like the nicest, coolest, down-to-earth guy in the NFL. I was just wondering if anyone has met him and if they did, what was he like?

You must not have seen his postgame press conference after the Chargers lost to the Patriots in the playoffs this year...I've heard generally he is a good guy, but I lost respect for him after that...

I never met him, but he is from the same town I grew up in, and we went to rivaling High Schools. He seems like a class act. He comes back to Waco every year to do a football camp for kids in town, and its always a big hit.

In 2003 I was buying his jersey in Fashion Valley in San Diego at Footlocker and I was buying his jersey as he walked past the store. I ran outside and told him I was in line buying his jersey and if I found him again could he sign it. He said sure, but then he followed me into the store and signed it for me! It was awesome but he wasn't as popular as he is now so he would get mobbed. I got lucky because no one knew who he was. Great guy.

i have at meet him at spring training, he is an great player and person. He signed things for like an hour, so that every last person had a signed thing. For Thanksgiving he brought like a thousand turkeys to give out to poor people. Here is a story to describe this man's character: A guy at the mall saw LT and asked him to sign a shirt for his terminally ill brother. LT said yes, but went the extra step and went to the brother's house to personally meet him and talk to him. LT is a great guy, but after the Patriot's game he lost his cool, but apologized for his comments and now he and Belicheck are fine.
