I recently started a t-shirt business and am looking to sell online. I am a beginner when it comes to site building, hosting and such. Is Yahoo a good provider for a start-up business as far as web design, hosting, effectiveness, ease of use, etc? Is there better out there that is also inexpensive? Thanks people of Yahoo answers.

I would like to suggest following webhosting , they are excellent.

Hostmonster http://www.hostmonster.com/track/ryukenden/

They offer hosting of "unlimited domains" and you will get massive webspace of 200000 MB (200 GB ). They only charge $5.95/month and they offer "a free Domain Name" and installing service called "Fantastico". By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer "Free Website Builder" as well.
Visit the site to check details.

Following site is quite good to register domains as price is reasonable with free privacy. Some charge about $5/ year just for free privacy.

Why build a build a website when you can build a Business?
I hate disappointing you but 99% of all e commerce websites fail. However please read this I did not said this to earn the 2 points:-) There is only 1 option so you can succeed and I'll have to repeat this one more time so you can sink this in, THERE IS ONLY 1 option to succeed with e commerce these days.....
That is called site build it. These days building a e commerce website(layout, content etc.) is not hard. There are many hosts and programs that allow you to build magnificent websites however the problem why 99% bussiness fail is because they don't bring enough traffic to generate sells. Why go to your website when I can buy the same products on Amazon or other more reputable stores? The solution is use site build it!

So what exactly is Site Build It.

This is a host like no other. As a matter of fact he doesn't even say the bandwidth and space that he offers in his home page. Why? That ain't important. I used site build it to build my website so I can explain many tools it has.

It has a tool like no other. It actually tells the competition of key words in a search engine according to popularity and competition with others. It helps you market your site and it makes your content presell.

There are 4 basic steps to making money with websites

Content/Traffic/Presell/Monetize

Site Build it is the only tool that helps you follow these steps. (There is where I got these steps and they work experience right here.)

P.s. Please 10 points. And check it out you'll love it.
