Hi! my husband used to be in the paving business and I asked him for you...he said you could try pressure washing the area, however, you need to be very careful not to have it on high pressure because the water pressure will damage the blacktop causing divots and it can take the oil out of the driveway causing cracks down the road. if this doesn't work he said the only way to eliminate the paint would be to reseal the driveway in summer...too cold now. temp should be at least 75 degrees...don't use harsh chemicals on the driveway and no oil (driveway will soak it up leaving stains) you could try simple green on it as well!

If the blacktop is pavement concrete, then purchase some Hydrochloric acid and pour over the paint or go to Home Depot and purchase paint remover.
*Warning HCL acid is highly corrosive, use caution.

Take an oily rag and wipe it down good. Regular motor oil is fine. It will be gone. The oil will degrade the paint and even if traces of it are left it will disappear in that climate for sure, with the spring rains coming. and even more snow.
