She does not refuse, she just chooses not to. I think its better not to get married if you don't want to get married. Imagine that, not wanting to get married and then actually NOT GETTING MARRIED? What a radical unique idea. The divorce rate is up to almost 60%. She and Stedman have been together much longer than most marriages.

Well, we can only speculate. I am guessing that it is because she is very independent, financially secure, in a healthy, long term committed relationship with Steadman, and probably just does not feel the need. She is adored by millions, respected, admired.....and she has a childhood history of abuse at the hands of men who supposedly "loved" her. Or maybe he just never asked.....

Not sure but it may be because of all her money and how all the other marriages in Tinsel Town end up. How can she be sure if someone loves her for herself and not just her fame and money. I'd have my doubts about anyone if I had that kind of money. She's better off single.
