use some hydrogen peroxide and spot clean the area....I have used this to get blood out of my children's clothes and it works perfectly.

I have good luck with hydrogen peroxide, it is slow process but put on small amount, over and over blot till all is removed. I have even sprinkled the some meat tenderizer then put the peroxide on tenderizer but not sure did any better. Hope this helps.

There is a product on the market called Zout. It comes in a dark purple spray bottle. If you can't find Zout, you can also use hydrogen peroxide or one of the "oxygen" detergents like Oxyclean.

after you find something to take this out, go to walmart and buy a plastic protective cover to put under the mattress pad.

peroxide to remove the blood and a combination peroxide and baking soda to deep clean if needed... youll want a damp cloth to blotted it too.
