I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction/ Education with a 4.0 GPA from an accredited university. I also have a bachelors in Education and experience as a teacher and teacher trainer in public schools. I am looking to for other career opportunities outside of the public schools. I could get my educational leadership degree and go into administration, however, I'm not really interested in this avenue. I could also work on my PhD in education and become a professor or work in developing standardized tets or measuring devices for such tests. What could I do in the business field? What else could I do? What should I do? How much time, effort, and money will this take? Any ideas?
Details: I currently have two young children. I'm in my late twenties. I live in Flordia. I am married and it would be difficult to move somewhere in another state due to his job, but not impossible.

Every singly business (at least mid to large) have some type of training department. For example, in banking there is positions that range from one-on -one to VP of training & leadership. Send your resume to a few different organizations and see who answers. It won't cost anything and at least you get to explore those areas.

WOW! I have the same "credentials". I began to pursue administration, but the politics that were required to move up in the ranks was not worth the time, effort and money. As such, I pursured other areas. I had experience doing other things, but I found that what I wanted could not be found working for someone else, so I pursued a career as a home-business person. My "credentials" in education equipped me with certain tools that have allowed me to achieve success in my business and I would be more than happy to discuss this with you privately.

Otherwise, best wishes in your search.
