Would you date yourself? I would for sure. If cloning were possible (and plausable) I would certainly be interested in trying! I like myself enough that I think I would be very happy and satisfied and I KNOW I would have a good time!

I would be interested in dating myself just for the experience. And I love myself - I have a lot of self esteem. However, a long term relationship / life partnership / marriage with a "clone" would not work for me. When looking for a partner in life, it is important for me to have someone who I team up well with. If the other person was exactly like me, we would share the same strengths and weaknesses - and would not be able to leverage each other's capabilities as well.
You do want enough commonality between relationship partners so that you have some common interests and common goals, so that you can stand together and look forward. If there is TOO much commonality, there wouldn't be as much energy or motivation in the relationship. It would almost be like you were alone, or with a sibling. It is better to have a partner with their own background and experiences - even after being together for 30 years or more enough differences remain to keep the relationship interesting.
Again, I would date myself. It would be a great experience, but wouldn't last long.

I wouldn't want to date myself. If we were exactly the same there wouldn't be much point. I already have a relationship with myself. We are together 24/7, discuss everything that happens in our day, argue constantly, share sexual fantasies, provide emotional support, give advice and know exactly how to get us off. If I had a clone, they wouldn't be able to give me anything I don't already get from myself. If I'm going to have a relationship with someone I'd want us to share something I don't have by myself.

I think I would bore myself because I would already know everything that I want to talk about and would be of the same opinion so the opportunity for enlightening conversation would be nil.
Although, in the sack, I think that would be fun cause I know what I like :D

Two answers - yes and no.
Yes, because I know I am a FABulous conversationist, a fun dinner date, and a delight to be around!
No, because we would both like the same things done to us and neither of us would be that adept in doing them. And vice versa about the things we like to do. Rather boring sex-wise, although we ARE a great kisser.

How odd that you came up with this question...odd only because I've always wondered if I would see myself on the street would I "woof" myself....and I've always lamented the fact that I'd like someone like me for a boyfriend or partner!! Dating myself would be selfish and numbing. No offense.
