Has anyone else seen this article? Is it fair to ask for an apology for your stating your opinion? I agree with General Pace.

Update: @21 minutes ago:...
WASHINGTON - Senior aides to the chairman of the military Joint Chiefs of Staff said Tuesday that Marine Gen. Peter Pace won't apologize for calling homosexuality immoral — an opinion that gay advocacy groups deplored.

You're right. The US Constitution gives us the freedom to practice our religion. A Religion is a set of beliefs, and morality is a part of that. To demand an apology is to deny Gen Pace the freedom of Religion. I think he should demand an apology from the gay advocates.

He compares homosexuality to adultery. I agree, but is anything being done about adultery in the military?? Not that I've ever heard. I say don't live a double standard. If you are going to kick out the gays, kick out the adulterers too. Oh, but then we'd have a tiny army right? I don't understand why a person's sexual morality has any bearing on their ability to fight for their country though. Why does it matter?? They have a freedom to choose their own religion and should be able to fight to maintain that freedom.

I don't necessarily agree with him because what a person does in their bedroom is their own business, but he has the right to think and say what he wants.
That's why we call it AMERICA. He doesn't owe anyone an apology and if you think he does you can eat my @ss with a spoon.
