This past week I was staying with my roomate in his house in NY for spring break. It was about 11 at night and I was sleeping in a cot on the other side of his room, and he was already sleeping. I wasnt really tired, and was lying awake, when he suddenly sat up and asked "Why is my bed shaking?" He asked if it was me, and I said no, and when he saw I was still in my bed, we got really freaked out and left. Then I remebered the same thing happened to me when I was 4 or 5. At the time, my brother had bought a brand new Nintendo, and when he was at work I went upstairs to his room to play it. I was laying on his bed, and it started shaking, so I ran downstairs and left his SNES and TV on all day and he got mad, but I never told him why. Has this happened to anyone else?

My hubby didn;t feel anything. My mother passed in feb. and things have been happening that I can't explain away.

when you are very still and the mattress is just right, your heartbeat's steady rythm can create a wave pattern. lie on a trampoline and notice after a little while that you get a bounce. I have felt this quite often and feeling it only makes you more aware of it, and makes your heart beat harder, intensifying the sensation. I wouldn't worry about it, but if you want to perform a cleansing it can't hurt.

I have to ask if his bed was shaking why did you not see it? You were in the room. Sounds like a vivid imagination to me. I am wondering what I am doing here, seems like this section is full of teenagers and kids. Where are all the serious paranormal investigators and grown people interested in real paranormal activities?

Certain vibrations produced at enough pressure may shake beds, chairs, floors, walls, etc. Washing machines, dryers, and even some refrigerators are notorious for creating these types of vibrations.

get a cross and get holy water from church..ususally they have somewhere where u can get it. When you go ever there sprinle the water on the bed and put the rosary or cross under your pillow. Say a prayer

Yup. It used to scare me. I found that if I said the Lord's Prayer it went away (you generally have to repeat it a few times). Ask your friend if he ever used a ouija board in that room.
