because our culture is all about the bottom line and no longer about people. people are an expendable resource and are considered replaceable, there is no longer a need for companies to be loyal to their employees.

I'm sure some are but I wonder if the basic employee doesn't have unreasonable expectations. Businesss is about a profit, a return on the employers investment and if he can't get a return on his money that exceeds what he would get with a bank cd shouldn't he be concerned. Employment is not an entitlement you have to earn it.
