There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

I've heard something about cucumber however never tried it personally, might be too much sleep or too less if it is just natural for you than I suggest applying cool, not freezing, pressure under them before you get ready in the a.m. Yellow reflects the darkness so if you still have dark circles I recommend Maybelle New York age rewind (in yellow)concealer corrector camouflage. Works magic. Another thing that works is hemorrhoid cream,be very very careful to not get it in your eyes, it sounds weird but makeup artists use it to remove the "puffiness"

Theres this cream called "Black and White" ointment. It's been around FOREVER and believe it or not you can only find it at the cheap stores anymore, but it really works. My family has been using it for years to get rid of dark spots. Be careful though because it's a sort of bleaching cream so aplly it with a q-tip and only to the area in question. I usually buy mine a Dollar General or Family Dollar. I don't know why, but these are the only places I can find it. It's in a whte tube with pink and black on it, but it's on the shelf in a box. It's about the size of a travel tube of toothpaste. Hope this info is helpful to you...good luck

I also have dark circles around my eyes and puffiness and i use sliced cucumbers chilled everyday on my eyes for about 5 minutes and once they are placed on closed eyes you feel your eyes WAKE UP!! I also use concealer and make it a habit to keep my eyebrows done because they frame the face and make you look alive..
Mac, Grafton and Nars Cosemtics all have good concealers and foundations..
Once you get your eyebrows done use a white makeup pencil for under the brow and make a thin line and then smudge it..watch how your eyes wake up..

Maybelle New York age rewind (in yellow)concealer corrector camouflage always works.
Professional make-up artists use hemorroid cream to decrease puffiness; it's been used on Dena & Lindsay Lohan

Clinque has somethings that look like cucumbers but are thin patches you put on your eyes in the AM. They have the oils that wake up your eyes in the cucumbers(the real ones).

Try a Mary Kay mask and some of their timewise products, they work wonders! They may have other things for you, but that works for me... you may have to find what is right for you, but I recommend Mary Kay timewise... Good luck!
