To assure Iran a place in the world or at least in the middle east they probably do want to have nuclear bombs. This is known to be the ticket to being listened to. Whether they would ever launch a bomb at the United States is doubtful as the retaliation could be absolute. It is probably true that they would like to be a threat to Isreal. The outcome may be that a power balance in the middle east may make the region more stable.

No, why would Iran need to bomb the USA? Doesn't make any sense. They don't even have to build one, just threaten that they do, like the North Koreans did.
I mean if they do it'll be death by cop, they'll be able to hit maybe a couple US cities, with nukes that are underdeveloped, so they'd do minimal damage, then they'd be at war, and they're not dumb they know what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan, the people responsible would be found. I doubt they want that hassle.
As for bible prophecy, like any prophecy there's room for error, or interpretation, or the chance that even if it's perfectly true it could happen thousands of years from now(let's face it they didn't write it yesterday with clear deadlines of tomorrow).
So anyhow, Iran needs a gun with blanks, not a loaded one, the repercussions of them doing it are too great, so why would they bother? The threat is their weapon, for diplomatic ends.

I assume the country won't attack Iran using fact we've our hands complete in Iraq and Afghanistan. If we did however: they have good relatives with the Shia in Iraq, shall we assume a upward thrust, probably a significant enhance, in insurrection assaults on US forces in Iraq. they have great numbers of missiles and rockets that must be fired at US installations in the region. no longer militarily important, even though it is not comparable to we've forces/materials to spare. they'd see if the Russian theory that 70 cruise missiles fired at a US provider concurrently ought to do the trick. i might choose to no longer see that theory examined. particular, kamikaze type assaults on US centers/forces in the region a diverse threat. Rocket assaults on Israel a threat. difficult to declare, Iran is a plenty extra effective and extra risky u . s . a . that Iraq ever become.

The Iranians certainly aren't continuing the enrichment of uranium because they've run out of projects to better their country. However, I have faith that the United States is alert to threats of nuclear attacks and has them in the crosshairs.

Quite possibly.
The Bible states that the end of the world will be flames circling the globe and that before a man hits the ground his flesh will melt off from him. That sure sounds like a global nuclear war to me.
The interesting thing is that the ultra rich all have underground bomb shelters stocked for underground living for years. Apparently they have no problem killing everyone on the planet, but wish to survive themselves. Frankly, I hope that should it happen, they will be buried alive in the resultant earthquakes. It would serve them right, wouldn't it?
