I believe I do have a sense of humor. Not everybody will "get" every joke. I joke about going home and kicking my puppy when I have a bad day. ( I would never really do it!!)

First of all that is wrong.

It takes a hell of a sense of humor to have a dog eat your curtains and still love the dog. Or an emergency trip to the vet cause the ignorant dog went through the window and stioll love the dog as you are as bloody as the dog.

How about at adoiptions with one dog tied to a chair it gets spooked and runs through the parking lot with the chair clanking in tow across the asphalt. ALl the while just trying to get the dogs attention towards safety. Oh and it was great when one dog figured out to stop for two seconds door will open and we have to pick her up down the street at frisch's. Oh or chasing the dog that ran straight to walmart that was great. Oh and one volunteer so loved animals she went out on a frozen pond to get a duck. It was a plastic duck but she certainly has a sense of humor cause I still give her hell about that. We have had rescue volunteers that have done the craziest crap and we still laugh. Animal people have a sense of humor or we would not have the animals.

I have never noticed that they are short of a sense of humour and with a lot of antics animals can get up to I have found most owners spend ages laughing at their pets. Pet owners are usually more contented people.

I wouldn't say I am, I gave an answer last week to the question " should I feed our dead cat to the kids" as I could see the humour and sarcasm in it. We just can't see why anyone would intentionally hurt or maim a defenceless domesticated animal for the fun of it..

They're not. I walk with a group of people most afternoons and we have a real good laugh whilst we're out dog walking! Mind you, I think some of us have a weird sense of humour!!!

I myself own 2 great dogs, a cat, a parakeet, and a gerbil. I just got done chatting with a friend and all we did was tell jokes and laugh. I don't know what kind of animal lovers you know but I think my sense of humor is pretty darn healthy. Matter of fact..my animals crack me up all the time. You can look at their faces sometimes and just die laughing because of the look on it. They can even look offended if you laugh at them if they slip on the ice. It's something to laugh at. I have a smile on my face thinking of it. So..my friend...you need to meet more animal lovers.

That's a bit daft, y'know, and the edit is a bit contradictory. Animals lovers are better than animal haters. People like you prove animals are better than most people. When did an animal ever offend someone just because they cared?

Their pets are like their kids, and most people wouldn't take a joke or have a sense of humor if it where one of their kids.

IE: Boy, that oldest kid you got sure has a big nose. LOL

A parent would not find humor in that.

IE: I saw your daughter standing on the corner of Main & 3rd Street. LOL

No humor.

Not true, not true. You need to go back and redo your research, that is, if you were the researcher. If someone else did the research, you need to look up other research that has been done. You need to check to see what the percentage of the population that was used in the research and was it fair. Lots of luck.
