Just above E. And I always fill up.

I don't fill it up everytime and I normally wait until the gage is at the empty mark or even a little under it...yeah, I'm a risk taker. Nah, I live in a very small town and rarely go anywhere. When I do plan to go into town or on a trip, then I will fill it up beause I really don't know where I'm heading and what gas stations are to come.

My gage doesn't work properly. When I fill up it reads full, but at around 70 miles it drops to "E". I use the trip odometer to monitor the miles traveled. By knowing the capacity of the tank, I've determined the MPG in the city and on the road. When I get 40 to 50 miles from the max. mileage range, I fill up, and reset the trip odometer. This process drives my wife nuts, as she's not very good with math. lol

Most of the time I just put in $10-$20 worth and that's when my car is less than a quarter of a tank.

I don't like it to go below a quarter tank....though it does sometimes, I try to catch it before that. And I always fill it. It's cold here, I'd rather get it all done at once then have to stand outside again in a couple days.

I fill up as soon as the light comes on....we have one of those things that says how many miles you have till empty so we can cut it pretty close....I usually always fill up but the other day I only put in $20 because it was cold and raining.

I let my tank get all the way down to empty. I don't even think about getting gas until that little red light pops on and alerts me to almost being empty. Sometimes I drive around near the gas station with the little red light on just to see how far I can push it. I am very daring. It is like my mom used to say; "If your not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space."

I always fill up, but I never let it get below a 1/4 of a tank.

When it gets down to 1/4, it jumps on my "things to do soon" list, which usually finds me filling it up at around an 1/8.

Maybe like 2 bars before it hits E then I fill it up.
