For several years, I've had a skin tag on my right outer labia. It remained the same for a few years now, and over the past couple weeks, it has gotten bigger. It doesn't hurt or bother me, except for when I need to shave. I am afraid I will slice it off. And of course, I don't like it getting in the way during foreplay and sex...it doesn't belong there!!! Is this something my gynecologist can remove? Or do I have to see my family doctor and get referred to a plastic surgeon?

Go to the gyno and they will freeze it off. Its not painful so don't worry.

I would first call a female gynocologist and tell the
person answering the phone if the gyn call take care of
your skin tag. If they don't, call a female skin doctor
and ask if that dr can take care of it.

Going to a female doctor is not embarrassing and you
should completely at ease.
