Realistically no longer happening in theory Be non violent and respectful do no longer wanna act like Phillies followers taking it to streets going loopy and unfavourable belongings like whilst they gained the Pennant and 2 years in the past whilst they gained the international sequence gave the impact of the Eagles gained the great Bowl and the Flyers gained the stanley cup yet they did no longer the Steelers and Penguins did however do no longer react like the followers in Philly rejoice yet additionally teach know too Pittsburgh isn't Philadelphia.

14 consecutive losing seasons and a total of just seven winning seasons since 1979. The Pirates went from 1927-1960 between postseason appearances, so there's some history of long droughts. Speaking of water (or lack of)...the Clemente Bridge is pretty though.

How would I react? I'd walk around my local ballparks and pick up and walk away with first base at every field in honor of ex-manager Lloyd McClendon, and leave his baseball card in it's place.

I wouldn't be the least bit suprised, here's why, baseball has turned into such a talent show that its ridiculus. This is what I mean, The Yankees, hundreds of millions of dollars spent on popular faces, AROD, ABREAU, DAMON, and so on. Players who have never really, REALLY had hall of fame years, except maybe AROD, are getting so overpaid its ridiculus, and there gonna get the money wether or not they do good or not, so frankly I think they don't play as hard as say a player coming to the last year of his contract, who needs to prove he's still got it so that he can get paid a lot more than he's worth!!! so maybe AROD is good, but WHY DOES HE NEED SO MUCH DAMN MONEY, that lil kids growing up in New York who used to be able to due a paper route or something in order to pay for a ticket to a game, cannot possibly afford to go anymore, and adults have to pay an arm and a leg to eat, drink, or do anything to have a good time at the ballpark!?!?

This game we call our National Pastime, is, I think, going to end for good within the next maybe 20 years MAX, the amount of money these entertainers are making is perposterous, the crimes some of them get away with is ridiculus, and the amount of money one owner has compared to another owner is so uneven half of the Yankees made more money last year then the entire florida marlins team!!!

That's why I think the Pirates have a chance, because they have money to go get some players, but they would rather take players that want to be there and want to win, then when it comes down to the trade deadline and they are in the run for the penant, they can use some of that money, and some prospects they have and get a stud or two to help them through the playoffs...

THE CHANCES OF IT ACTUALLY HAPPEN I DOUBT ARE VERY GOOD, but my point is, so many pricks are ruining the integrity of the greatest game on earth, using steroids to break the most coveted record in sports, getting paid hundreds of millions of dollars but not performing at the level he should, or flat out worrying about saving there arm year by year until the final year of there contract, and then giving it there all for one year, making people believe maybe he found his groove again... ITS JUST SAD, I honestly hope they figure out every person that has ever took steroids and erase them from the record books, ITS AN ACTUAL CRIME, not just against the rules in baseball, its illegal!!! allow pete rose into the hall of fame... before he dies, if u dont do it before he dies dont do it at all, cause ur not respecting someone cause they are dead, everyone dies, not everyone hits as many hits in a MLB career as he did, forget about the gambling crap its played out, just honor him...YOUR GONNA HONOR MARK MCGWIRE AND BARRY BONDS, they did illegal things and are going to be caught, THERE IS NO EVIDENCE PETE ROSE BET AGAINST HIS TEAM, and he already admitted he bet on baseball, jesus, just give him a break, he poured his heart out for MLB and made a few bad decisions, but for all the people that grew up loving him, looking up to him, they might not be where they are today if they didnt want to be so much like Pete Rose...Shoot I gave up hockey in the 3rd grade because I wanted to be just like Pete Rose, unfortunately I tried getting a little bigger like him, but got too big so now im a pitcher, lol...but still...bring back the integrity of the game, leave umpires alone, dont bring computers into the game, human error is part of the game, by both players, coaches, and the umpires...

If this happened, it would turn one of my Football answers into a complete lie. In it, I said I would die of shock from the Detroit Lions making the playoffs, but this World Series would be over before the NFL playoffs begin, so I'd be dead at the beginning of October from the shock of Pittsburgh in the NLDS.

There will be no reaction from me personally because i know that it is not going to happen. But i think it would be cool because they have not won in awile and if they did make it to the world series, they would be the underdogs. I like to see teams that shouldnt have a chance to win actually win. Sports are supposed to be about heart and love of the game. Not the money you make. So i would personally love to see that

it doesn't matter because the Pirates will NOT win the world series. They probably won't win 70 games this year.

It would be a little awkward, since the Pirates are not serious contenders, but then again, they don't bring food to my table, so it would just be water under the bridge.
