yes, it happend tonight. South Africa played against Holland and Gibbs hit six sixes. It was amazing. What is also great is that Jonny Walker said that whoever does it will get one million dollars to give to a charity of his choice. I did feel abit sorry for the dutch man though. The where 2 other records broken in that game. One was the fasted fifty. and the other was the most sixes in a game.

I think you will find that the first time it has ever been done was yesterday. Gary Sobers and Ravi Shastri did not do it in international games, Shastris was in The Ranji Trophy, which is a domestic first-class cricket championship played in India between different citys and state sides, equivalent to the County Championship in England

NO, - but, it has ALMOST happened! West Indian legend, - the GREAT Sir VIV RICHARDS, - once hammered a TOTAL of THIRTY-FOUR runs! As for the "36", - read on, please!

There are only TWO players, in the HISTORY of the game, who have achieved this tremendous FEAT!

The great West Indian all-rounder, Garfield SOBERS, - he was, later KNIGHTED, and, became SIR Garfield, - did it, whilst playing for NOTTINGHAMSHIRE, against GLAMORGAN, in 1968! The poor BOWLER, on THAT occasion, was off-spinner, MALCOLM ANDREW NASH! It is thought, that, - during that ONE over, - no fewer than THREE cricket balls, were USED! One sailed out of the ground, and was picked up, by a schoolboy, who returned it, LATER! The SECOND was NEVER FOUND!

And, - although I don't know precisely, WHEN it occurred, - the feat was achieved in a Provincial match, in INDIA, - by former Derbyshire skipper, (RAVI)SHANKAR JAYADRITHA SHASTRI.

The unfortunate bowler, on THAT occasion, was a guy called TILAK RAJ!
