Since Bush 2 caused all of their pain and suffering in Iraq by going to war with lies as a justification, why shouldn't he be required to give up the White House to wounded soldiers? Perhaps a little White House caviar and champagne would help improve the morale of the soldiers. Since President Harry Truman lived in Blair House while the White House was being remodeled, I see no reason why the Bushs couldn't live there for the remainder of Bush 2's term of office.

There are historical precedents in other countries for my proposal. For example, the Tsar of all the Russias, Nicholas II, and Tsarina Alexandra converted portions of their palace complex in the Imperial retreat at Tsarskoe Selo into hospital facilities. Alexandra and her daughters, the Grand Duchesses, even served as nurses for the wounded Russian soldiers throughout World War I. Why haven't Laura and her daughters done the same?
