how late to get positive hpt?

how long can it be to get a positive hpt? i am 3 days late still negative and no signs of af.

I am 4 days late and I don't want to test until another month, just because I hate seeing negs but you could of ovulated at a different time that is why you are not on your period yet just wait if it dosent come for another week go the docs.Best of luck!

I am 3 days late, too, and getting negatives. No sign of a period and I don't feel the least bit pregnant. I've heard it can take till a couple weeks after your missed period to get a positive.

If you are already 3 days late and still negatives, I would say you aren't pregnant. If you want to know definitives, head to the doctor for a blood test.

well I was 3 days late yesterday and the test came up a BFP. So I am sure you might have ovulated late or you might be pregnant lets hope. But I can tell you I am sick to my tummy, headaches the whole 9 yards.

to the asker and the first answer. stop testing and see the doctor. for a blood test if thats negative you arent pregnant stress changes in diet weight gain or loss can all cause your period to be late so can being sexually active when you havent been in a long time. i dont think your pregnant a test would read now give it a few days or see your doctor

good question im 12 days late and still gettin neg. some people told me that their hpt didnt come back pos til they were between 8-11 weeks pregnant. .



also i know to go to the doctors but im waiting til im 2 weeks late thanks

i am 4 days late and got a negative 2 days ago, called my Dr. and they said wait a few days and test again.

it depends on when your hormone levels get high enough to be detected in your urine. If you don't come back positive in a couple days and still no period, i would sugggest having a blood test done to check for the hormone- it can detect smaller ammounts. good luck
