If your serious here is a scientific fact: When people go to space and then return, the clocks show a differential - speed most likely is the variable - although it could also have something to do with being close to Earth - some unknown property.
Second, whenever I had deja vous I used to ask around and see who else around me was having it too - and many people were - I wonder what that is - a time ripple?
Also, get this book: The Philadelphia Experiment.
They have schematics and descriptions. I always wanted to try some of that stuff, but I'm afraid I don't have the time or quite enough technical knowledge.
Anyway, let me know how you work out - SERIOUSLY.
And forget about paradox guy - Stephen King put forth the idea in his Dark Tower series that if you did something like go back and kill your father you would still exist BUT you would live two simultaneous realities at the same time - which would eventually drive you stark raving mad - both are just a theory.

Look up John Titor on an internet search.
He claims to have traveled back from about 2036...with a GE Time Displacement machine...there's even pics of it on the website.
Edit: What Bradx is talking about is the "grandfather paradox" and most people that are really into the physics and research of time travel say that you cannot return to your same timeline..only an alternate, parallel timeline.

I don't know if it was going back in time, or not, but years ago a guy and I were coming home and we we driving out by the airport and then we took this exit. and somehow we got going N. on a freeway that doesn't even connect to the one we were on going west. and then when we looked at the time, we had lost an hour an half.. behind where we were. so who knows what happened. time and space.. its hard to say what really happened.

Nope....and there is a scientific law that prevents it called the "paradox". It prevents people from going back in time before they were born and killing their own father, thus causing the end pof thier own existence in the process.

No! It is said that how hard you try, you can NEVER make a time machine. Thats because if we knew what happened or will happen, we'll try to get away with what we did and change it, but god doesnt want us to do that.
So there you have it.

Time is always moving forward at a constant rate. So no, you cannot go back in time.

I keep a journal of my experiences. Reading and rereading it really takes me back in time sometimes.

it's impossible
inorder to go back in time or space you need to go through a worm hole
these are so small that only energy can go through them
