Im gay and i sometimes have this issue. It could mean a number of things, the most obvious that he likes the boyish or tougher traits the girl has. The second most likley is that he is attracted to her because she is pretty, but it does not indicate he wants to have sexual contact with her, in which case his sexuality does not change. a man can say another man is good looking for instance without actually wanting to have sex with him. this does not make him a homosexual. the same applies all across the board. For the most part though, if your friend is gay and he's aware of it then he is simply gay. rarely though is it so simple. hope this helps.....

People evidently don't read psychology magazines. Most gay people will have sex with members of the opposite sex at some point in their life.

You have an interesting experiment on your hands, and probably the best way to show if homosexuality is caused by genes. If it is, they are recessive genes. That means for expression, the person has to carry a pair of the genes. In your case, both the man and the woman would be carrying pairs of this hypothetical gene, leaving no straight gene for expression.

Have them mate, get her prgnant, take the kid away and raise it in a straight home. DO it like 4 more times so there's a good sample. If the kids aren't all gay we can rule out a single gene leading to either male or female homosexuality, or both.

This is for science, so show some self sacrifice. You may need to construct a weird pervert torture chamber in your basement, lock them in there, and force them to mate through coersion. "It rubs the lotion on her skin, or else it gets the hose again."

Like and admires or even love for that matter are 3 (three) different words.

If I like my brother and what he does for our family, does this mean I'm sleeping with him? Absolutely not!

If I like my boss, because she is great to work with, does this mean I'm sleeping with her?

Or even how about, if I like your question because you are brave enough to ask, does this mean WE will ever sleep together.

I think by now you get my point.

Now - on the flip-side of the coin - I do love my partner, and he's the only person I'm sleeping with, and yes that means I'm gay.,

Dude, rethink what you are asking, and maybe try it again. Otherwise, as other questions I found posted this morning, utterly ridiculous.

Cheers,

bga

Thats the problem, many people feel a comfort in labeling themselves like gay straight bi etc. It should be about you who love and who will treat you right

Um, why does it matter, really? But, I'll give you my point of view. I am a lesbian, and I am attracted to men sometimes. That doesn't mean that I want to be with them or am in love with them. Maybe he just clicks with her. That's why labels are so stupid, because no-matter what you call yourself, you fall for who you fall for. It just happens sometimes.

If he's gay, then he wouldn't like that girl, lesbian or not.

define "like"...
I have a lot of male friends who I like and love, like I love my brother and my nephew, etc
But I'm still a lesbian...

"Like" doesn't necessarily mean "let's go have sex". We can be close to other people of different genders. It's in the Queer Rulebook.

Well it does mean your friends hormones are getting to him. He cannot decide which gender he likes.

I think people can like who they like. There's no reason to have to label ourselves as strictly one thing or another. Perhaps your friend cannot be defined by boundaries.
