Any bank can exchange currency for you. If you are travelling to France, your best bet would be to get some traveller's cheques in Euros. Again you can purchase these from your bank.

France is on the Euro.. you can go to any bank and exchange dollars for Euros.
If you mean the old french currence... maybe ebay.
