We drove to Florida last April for vacation. 14 hours there, 17 back! We drove at night on the way there so the kids were crashed. We left aroun 12:00 when we drove home so we had to keep stopping to let them stretch and run around in the grass! I was also 5 months pregnant! LOL!

Northern Ontario to BC with a 6 month old baby. I had planned out the entire trip, with stops along the way. We got Winnipeg when my husband informed me we would NOT be staying at any hotels - he didn't want to pay for that. 35 and 1/2 hours there. By Moose Jaw I wanted to jump out of the car and end my life.
We got to BC and his parents left us a note saying they were in Washington for a week, it was a spur of the moment thing. They'd never met their first grandchild before that.
They got back and we spent three days listening to them ***** about me and how I had purposely gotten myself pregnant to trap their son (who was unemployed when got married so it's not like I wanted him for his money) and how we were making the biggest mistake of our lives. And of course, even though they both smoked for 25 years, they had quit and our smoking was horrendous, blah blah blah. So it was a very long few days. Oh yes, and they never ONCE babysat and gave us the runaround when we asked. Our last night there they were busy getting drunk at the neighbours.
It took us over 40 hours to get home, back to Ontario. It was the longest trip of my life. I still feel very bitter about the whole thing - but my husband insists I should be grateful he took me anywhere at all.

4 years ago, I moved my mother, daughter, myself and our dog, three cats, and two birds 3000 miles from Virginia Beach, VA to San Diego, CA. It took nearly 5 days of 18 hour driving in a 24-ft moving van with a car towed behind.

When my sister and I were still in Elementary school my parents drove to Oklahoma for my cousin's wedding and then we drove back following the states up North. Then when I was looking at four year colleges my mom and I drove to Texas to visit a prospective college. It took almost two days to get there.
