every time i remove the tracking cookie ccAcp or something like that it keeps popping back up on my scans. how do i permanately remove this? what is it exactly and where did it come from?

have you already tried spyhunter? it's antispyware but works for tracking cookies as well. here's a download: http://www.2-spyware.com/review-spyhunter.html

If you're using Firefox, you can set an exception to "session" for a specific domain. So take a look at the cookies that come up on those scans, find out the domains they're coming from and go

Options -> Privacy -> Exceptions

Enter the domain (just the ____.com bit), and click the "Allow for Session" button.

If you're not using Firefox, get on it!

It's put there by some website you visit. You can permanently stop it coming back by:
. Not visiting that website
. Turning off the right of websites to store cookies on your PC.
. If you can identify which advert (?) on the website put it there block their access totally using your firewall.

Otherwise a touch tricky.
