Long story short-

I was young. There's not much to do in South Dakota so we most of the time would resort to meeting at someone's house and drinking and smoking pot.

I thought he was "cool" because he had a nice truck and motorcycle.

He got me pregnant. I told my parents. They hated him. I didn't really like him much either, but I married him anyway to spite my parents and I suffered for that mistake. The marriage did not last long because I quickly realized how badly I messed up. I filed my own divorce because I could not afford an attorney and when my daughter was just an infant, I began dating my current husband who has been nothing but the best father imaginable to her. It all worked out in the end, I guess.

Most of the guys in South Dakota go into Engineering or Agriculture or Veterinary medicine and do quite well. I should have looked to the good guys to begin with. Instead, I looked to the drunk bad-boy party type that carried on with big dreams and ambitions about his band taking off. Like I said I was very young and impressionable.

This clone business will be sorted out soon, I hope. I will be sending Yahoo my photo i.d. today so that they will remove the other one from the board. When they do so, they have assured me the I.P. address will be recorded and they will lose all accounts from that I.P. I hate that it had to go this far, but I'm really sick of this ****.

The words, she can do better, have a different meaning in South Dakota. When a young man graduates from High School, he thinks about how slim his chances of getting a job where he lives are. If he has some ambition or intelligence, he goes away to college and gets a job in another state. He might move to a city where he can get a good job, also. Before the war he might have joined the military. Most of the 18 to 30 year old single men are losers who still live at home with their parents, because they don't have to pay rent, and they feel comfortable being around family and old friends and other people who can bail them out of jail.
My first husband was one of the better ones in this group. He had the ability to appear to be a good catch when when he was sober and employed. This made him appear to be superior to the other guys I met. I was much younger than and I was a poor judge of character.
