I cant believe its here (well almost), should i be all shakey and nauseous? figity, I am 1500 miles away and wont be there til fri or saturday. (probably as she exiting from the hospital). How long do they keep women who have vaginal births these days? (okay not really a question but was excited!) but really how long do you think she will stay in the hospital if everything goes just right?

They wanted to kick my Aunt out after 12 hours. (There was some kinda crazy baby boom going on lol) But usually its a day or two.
Oh and congrats on the soon to be birth of your new grandchild. Hope all is well!

if all goes well they will release her and the baby the next day. If she has a C-section she could be in there 3-4 days, sometimes they let you go home around day 2 after a C-section. Congratulations Grandma!
