I'll admit it - I'm a total TV ignoramus. Anyone who can give me a nice rundown on what these programs are about gets 10 points! Even better, if you think of other popular shows I didn't mention, include them.

The OC: about a poor teenage guy who ends up living with his former public defender.
Seinfeld: a "show about nothing"! it's based on Jerry Seinfeld's life with a few of his friends (great show!)
buffy: a vampire slayer? (i've never seen the show)
Lost: about a group of plane crash survivors who live on a island
Survivor: one of the first reality shows where a group of people "live" on an island and see who can "survive" the longest.
The sopranos: about mobsters?
some of my other favorite shows: law and order (all 3), Scrubs, Three's company (classic show), SNL

1.) The O.C. is about just four wealthly teenagers. It is mostly about cheating, love, marriage, getting preg, and stupid drama for all teenagers.
2.) Sienfield is just comdy tv show. It is old tv show.
3.) Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a great tv show to watch. It is about she have to kill all demons and vampires. There are also witches. They have cool effects. They are just fighting against demons and vampires. That's it. (great story tho.)
4.) LOST is my most favorite tv show. The airplane has crashed into the mystery island. There are 42 survivors. Some of them are dead by mystery people. Things are getting weird when they discover something that they never seem before on that island. Now after they found "the others" and been kidnappered by them. Only 3 people (katie, jack, and Sawyer). So... Katie and Sawyer made an escape and Jack is still with the others. Now we are watching the third season. You can buy the first and second seasons on dvd.
5.) Survivor is about the games for people who lived on the island for a month without shower, toothbrush and everything.. they are bo. Haha... they are trying to win the money.
6.) What is the heck "the sopranos"? haha

The OC was about four wealthy teenagers living in the Orange County. There was substance abuse, a marriage in France, death, cheating, love, a rabbit named Pancakes. It was a primetime soap for teens that ended in February.
Buffy The Vampire was Sarah Michelle Gellar playing a vampire slayer. Each episode had a new demon/vampire for Buffy to conquer.
Lost is about a plane that crashes on an island which turns out to not be deserted. The other island lives "the others" which are somehow connected to the "Dharma (sp?) initiative." I think Lost hasn't gotten any better, perhaps worse, easier to laugh at.

All I'll be able to tell you about from your list is Buffy and Lost.
Buffy is about a teenage girl. "In each generation one girl is the chosen one. She alone will stand against the vampires, deamons.... etc." It's funny, intense, sweet. Has it all!
Lost is about how all these random people are thrown together because their plane crashed on a random island way off course of their flight. Now they must survive and figure out the mysteries of themselves, their place and their new home!
Another good t.v. show- you can now find on DVD- that I would recommend is--- Roswell!
Roswell NM was made famous because they say a UFO crashed there. This show kinda takes that and runs with it. The Roswell aliens as teenagers with lives and loves, etc. Very good, and well done- surprisingly.
A show I would recommend, currently on tv is Grey's Anatomy. It's about a group of kids who are in a single surgical intern group at a teaching hospital in Seattle. Their struggles, triumphs, friendships, etc. Very good!

Buffy...about a girl who discovers she has abilities to slay vampires..falls in love with one and has friends who help slay vampires. Lost...a plane full of people crash on a remote island, try to survive and then find out that they are not alone...Survivor...well...it is a reality tv show where people are put on a remote island, put thru tests and see if they can be the only remaining person to win some prize...The Supranos....a Mob show....Seinfield....a bunch of friends who live in the same building who interact with each other...some thing like Friends.....O.C....basically it is like a soap opera.....

Out of those I only watch The Sopranos and Lost. The Sopranos is about the head boss Tony Soprano and his family, his crew members and life in the mafia. ( my fav!) Lost, a plane crashes on an island. Some people survive, the show is basically about these people, and all the strange things on the island. ( was my favorite, now its kinda drawn out and sucky).
These shows are very complicated to explain, sorry if I didnt go into detail.
