the speed of dial-up maxium you "allowed" to have is 52K (even though the modem can goes upto 56K - the speed is regulated by the government, so don't blame it to the modem manufactory for false advertise). The slowest time is during evening, if you can stay away from during those hours, and instead, using your computer late at night or during morning, whenever people are at work, so they don't share the same line with you (assume they're using dial-up too). But people nowaday is using DSL/Cable, even at the slowest DSL out there, which is more than 700Kb (14 times faster dial-up) and it doesn't cost that much (around $20 or so). Even for the cheapest dial-up, it would cost you $10/month, while DSL costs you a little more than twice, but 14 times faster. You'll be gladed you made the right choice/decision.

The only thing you can do is make sure you have a 56k modem. If you already do, there is nothing you can do to make it faster. If you want a faster connection, you will need to get Broadband.

No you are able to no longer. whether you do dial up does no longer be speedy sufficient to look after a video circulate in any relaxing way. this might entail alot of custom programming that the customary consumer can't do.
