how do u get real people friends on Final Fantasy III for DS since its online...?

even though you can get online with it, you can't really do anything.

the ONLY purpose of going online is to exchange letters. and you don't even write the letters you receive. both you and the other person's games simply send a predesignated letter to the other one. then you can read it.

after you've traded letters with seven ingame characters (NPCs) and with 4 different real people (online or outside, doesnt' matter) you can become the onion knight class
