Neocons have this irrational tendancy to lie about everything. They believe the lies that other neocons dream up and repeat them like they were the gospel. I know most neocons are poorly educated, so maybe that has something to do with it. But this seems to me to be some form of insanity. These neocons have a real problem with reality. Is it some form of mass autism or just what is going on with them? Have there been any clinical studies into this phenomena?

Chuckenb... - I'm sorry if you think that I am degrading the term autism by wondering if neocons somehow have a mass case of it. I am using the word because it fits. The neocons are living in their own little world where reality is not welcome.

George - you seem to have bought into that old neocon lie that they are as bad as we are. They say that to try to minimize their dirty deeds. It don't wash. There is only one truth, one reality.

No, no longer insanity. It relies upon on how the actuality is being deflected, and if the man is consciously conscious that they are deflecting it then they're no longer being insane, yet particularly, planned. at the same time as it includes gay topics, its basically more beneficial accessible for some dad and mom to stay in an option actuality that to face the information---particularly if its an in undemanding words infant. a number of that's with reference to the actual undeniable actuality that they are going to not in any respect have grandchildren. and a number of that's concern that the youngster they love a lot received't have a 'regularly occurring' and chuffed existence. The communicate is likewise real. A gay infant may pick to stay in denial because he do not want to disappoint the dad and mom, or because he's fearful of being judged, or because of his own fears about what his existence is going to be like as a gay individual is an anti-gay international.

your argument about "neocons" could easily be made for liberals, as well.

see what i mean: "liberals have this irrational tendancy to lie about everything. they believe the lies that other liberals dream up and repeat them like they were the gospel." all true statements, i might add.

truth be told (which is virtually impossible in politics today), liberals and conservatives (dems and repubs) are essentially nothing more than different sides of the same political coin. there are a few "philosophical" differences, but the way they carry out their political business is exactly the same.

Well, lets take a look at some beliefs of the neocons to test this insanity plea:

1) Neocons believed Usama Bin Laden committed 9/11. There is no hard proof against Usama for committing those acts (Usama himself said he didn't do it. The FBI said there is no hard evidence against him. And the confession video is already not considered authentic by FBI/CIA authorities). So without proof, the neocons invaded Afghanistan, captured innocent people and shipped them to secret CIA prisons to be tortured, including Guantanamo Bay.

2) Neocons believed that Iraq carried Weapons of Mass Destrution. Neocons violated UN treaties and invaded Iraq even though the UN Security Counsil opposed the invasion of Iraq because the intellegence was not sufficient, yet the neocons claim they were fulfilling the wishes of the UN Security Counsil? (I wouldn't be suprised if neocons still believe that Iraq was a threat - LOL).

3) Neocons believed that torture is justified on "suspected terrorists" (in other words the person can be innocent and coerced into confession through torture). Gonzales (the US attorney general) told Bush admin that the Geneva Conventions didn't apply today. Note: Geneva Conventions fights imperialism and inhumane war-time acts such as torture.

4) Neocons currently believe Iran is using their unranium enrichment program to create nukes. Iran claims that it is for generating power (and is technically not in violation of treaties signed by the US). Without proof of the "nuke" claim, again the neocons are willing to invade Iran.

In conclusion: Neocons want military action with Iran...Neocons want to throw the middle east into further chaos. But the real problem with neocons is denial of wrongdoing...which every human is guilty of. The neocon does it on a larger scale however....in that I mean they still feel that they didn't make a mistakes even though the world hates America more, and Iraq is a mess.

I'm not going to get into your diatribe about politics but I take exception with your mass autism comment. You clearly have absolutely no understanding of the autistic condition and to use it in this context, you are using the term to degrade people. If you're upset because a group of people think differently than you, that's fine. But don't apply your politics (or opposition to those set forth) to another group of disabled individuals in an attempt to make them seem less than human. It is wrong and puts your ignorance on full display.

*************************************
The term does not fit. You may be suprised to learn how many autistic individuals do not fit your stereotypical description. All autistics are not lost in their own little world. Many are very much connected to their environment. To boast more about your willful ignorance does not help whatever point you are trying to make. It actually lowers your credibility.

I am not sure if their denial of reality is linked to their strong sense of fear or if its just plain ignorance. Oblivious to historical relevance and their anti-intellectual platform is quite questionable. Neo con's are very reactionary and no they DO NOT use rational thought, I think at one time conservatives did represent a sort of rational way of approaching politics, but that has changed with the neo-con agenda. There is nothing rational in the way any of the mouth pieces for the conservatives pontificate; Ann
Coulter is a great example of a brainless mouth that reacts instead of thinks, Limbaugh also another example of this thoughtless feeler. It is because they have to appeal to the loweset common denominator and uneducated people.
