Leprechaun? These are the Little People of Ireland, who are a bit mischievous and are rather hard to catch

OK a all these people are full of it. A leprechaun is not a mean little red hair fairy. Most of you Irish are dark haired and to many people stereo type them. The truth is a Leprechaun is an industriuos shoe maker for the fairies. Yes it is true he like to indulge in a bit of "Poteen" or Whiskey. But the so called mean leprechauns is know as a "Fear-Derig". He will not kill to protect his gold and neither do the others, in fact legend has it if you catch one he will give you his gold in exchange for his freedom, And please stop calling them wee people and little people that is an American invention. In Ireland they are referred to as The Gentle People. Because they, though playful are harmless. I hope that helps you out.

A little red haired Irish fairy thing. Gets drunk and angry a lot. Very sneaky.
