well its sort of self explanatory...pre- cast..pre=before.
Ready made
Casting is the pouring of the concrete.
Cast-in -situ...means that a mould is made around the place where you want the lintel and the concrete is poured in there...
Cast-in-situ=...made in place....

pre/cast is formed off site to the required size (can be purchased off the shelf if a standard size , or cut down to suit:
in/situe is where a frame work (shuttering) is formed and held in place over the opening requiring a lintel and the concrete (and any reinforcement) is poured in !!! once set , the shuttering is removed (struck)

pre cast means that its made elsewhere and brought to site, you have to buy the one thats the closes in length to they gap you are trying to cover and go from there.
cast in situ is what it says, the lintel made to the correct size and spec, by creating a mould on site and filling it with concrete and supports in place

Not a lot. ones made on site. The other bought to site. That's it, simple really.
