Yeah! I was thinking the same thing a few days ago when watching an episode from season 10... they're not as funny, and they look ridiculously old to still be living a 20-something lifestyle... I mean, they should have had 2-3 kids by then lol... in that moment I realized that it was not bad that it ended after all, it wouldn't have been a good idea to keep going like that, the show had already lost whatever made it a success from the beginning.

Basically because all the fans wanted more they kept writing new seasons until they could go on no more. At the beginning it was so funny because it was all new and we didnt know what to expect. But we all learnt the jokes and soon we knew when to expect them. I loved Friends and i dont think they should do any more seasons or a movie you just have to look at the Joey show and how bad that was it wasnt the same with out the rest of the cast in there.

My daughter and I had this very conversation the other night as she has to look at friends for her A level media.
She loves the programme and has every episode mix of video and DVD.
She said they should have ended it on series eight as nine and ten panned a bit and lost its mojo whatever that is lol.
She said like you the earier ones were much better and towards the end although funny had no real meaning like the first series.
So in answer to your question no there should be no more series it is done and dusted now no series no film end of.

I was also gutted when it ended but I think that's what it takes to keep the show so good. It would be cool if they made another short series in 10 years time to see where they all ended up!

I loved that show as well but I think that since so much time has past that the magic is over. They've gone and grown in different directions. I don't think that they could go back as those characters and be believed. They ended the show at the right time. Sorry, I don't think that it would be a good idea. I think that it would ruin the fantasy of the show.

I totally love Friends, but I dont think there would be much else that thet could do. It went out on a high note and thats the best way for it to be. I dont think they should make a movie of Friends either because it wouldnt work.

im glad it ended before it ceased to be as funny as in the beginning. you're right, the first series were funnier but even the last were quite hilarious....i like the fact that the series grew with the cast but it was time to end so that it mantained quality to the finish.

I agree with you. I think they'd reached the end of the road some time before the last episode. Things move on.

I liked the show to n felt the same by the end there. They cut the show at perfect timing b4 they got a bad rating.I think it would b good if they put together a few like friends and do another show the same. It's finding the right actors for the show.
