My daughter is 7 and these are her spellings for the week:-
Conversation, competition, fraction, creation, suction, population, division, revision, confusion, preparation. I wonder how many adults can spell them, can you?

I have taught English to 13 year olds who have just entered secondary school and I have never seen such an atrocious level of spelling among kids. I blame Primary school teachers for not focusing on this essential life skill.

My kids have spelling tests. I beleive dyslexia is a condition though.. you cant teach a dyslexic to spell!

technically, on condition that after the 1st time they're already 0.5 lifeless, the 2d 0.5 might rather be 1 / 4 of the preliminary aliveness. so that they may be 3 quarters lifeless after the 2d time being scared 0.5 to dying. that's an exponential decay ingredient.

kids still get spelling tests in school but the teachers have last laugh. they make the kids learn the words and then dont test them. mental cruelty i say.
