So this morning when he tried to tickle me up in my bed (which he does almost every morning), I asked him seriously that whether he's gay or not. His hands went a little down and said "maybe I can find out about it". I quickly pushed him away and explained a hell lot about we can still be best buddies but not boyfriends. Blah blah blah. Please stop being so intimate with me because (knowing now that he's gay) I'll feel uncomfortable. Blah blah blah.
Then he got apparently upset and never spoke a single word to me since.
Does he have a problem or something? I mean what's wrong with still being best friends?
We've been great friends for almost 4 years and I'm not going lose my best mate like this. Can someone help me out?

I'm gay by the way. But I don't wish to have any "gay relationship" with him. Call me weird but I'm this kind of person.

Hey man. It was hard for the both of you. him opening up, and you hearing it.
give it a little time to heal, then call him and say its OK. I understand, just not into you like that.
The friendship will come back, believe me, he needs you by his side.

You have just rejected him, thats the worst feeling in the world. He is probably in love or very attatched to you, so now he is very hurt and ashamed of himself for coming on to you. You will probably have to make the first move if you still want to be good friends.
Forgive him first, tell him you are there for him as a best friend.
If you feel that you are too close to him for any kind of intimate contact you should tell him that too.
Try to boost his eigo, say hes nice but you know him too well for anything else than best friends.
Try to find the best way to put it, you know him best but what you realy need to do is be there for eachother & support eachother.
Take care & good luck David :)xxx

You've hit on something. Based on his actions, I'd say that he likes you, and maybe even more. That's the problem. Just let it pass for a while, and he'll get back to his senses.
You should give him a kind warning though that you're not into gay. He should understand that, and I'm hoping that he apologizes for his actions.

It doesn't sound like you were very nice to him when he decided to open up to you and admit that he might be gay. I would say you should do a lot of apologizing and say that you're fine with whoever he is.

When one person thinks there might be chemistry and the other tells them that there isn't it can be quite awkward. It depends on the person and how acceptable he or she is to certain subjects.

You shot him down, and he had a big crush on you for probably a very long time. He's just upset, he'll get over it
