i really feel like i am pregnant but friday will be the 1st day of my missed period, should i bother taking those tests to see if i'm pregnant or are they mainly let downs?

You can try it, but just be aware that every day before your expected period date decreases the accuracy of the results - down to less than 50% 4 days before your period is supposed to start. I'd just be patient and wait until you're late and then try.

I believe they work. I am 38 weeks pregnant and tested positive at 3 weeks. Didn't even have a chance to miss my period before I knew. It's just one of those things. You KNOW when you are pregnant. The only downfall of absolutely knowing that soon is that it makes the pregnancy seem to be forever long!

Actually, those test recommend waiting at least 5 days to test. I waited 7 days, just to be sure. I found out I was pregnant and thought the test worked great!
Just be sure to allow the recommended time before testing or you will just be wasting your money!

Well, i took one when i was 4 weeks 5 days, and it was negative..so i thought i wasnt pregnant. Then i waited 2 more days just to be sure..and i was 5 weeks, and it was still negative. Then 3 weeks later i took one and it was positive! Now i'll be 11 weeks tomorrow!! Buuut other people i know got positives by 4 weeks, so maybe its my body that was wrong lol hope i helped you

I believe those test help - although they have proven to rather provide a negative negative than a negative positive, so you could be pregnant even if the test did not pick up any hCG in your blood. Wait until prox. next week Wednesday, if you can, and test then....I wish you all the best!

they work I took a test when I was a day or 2 late and mine came out positive. Take one if you want and if its neg. wait a few more days and if you dont start take another.

they do work.take the test.but use the first morning urine sample..if you get a negative wait a few more days..good luck
