My friends and I usually treat each other to dinner at the birthday persons choice for their birthday. We don't exchange gifts. We even did this in high school.

Subjective either a pair of jeans or a nice perfume or beautiful photo frame with our photo in it or a nice and beautiful watch or a box of nice chocolates or a soft toy.

well if you are really good friends then you should know what they like, so get them that. and if you dont know what they like get them something you like, if you like it they'll like it. and if your REALLY REALLY good friends if you want you could have a good laugh and get them a gag gift. hope that helps! : )
