I know there's a lot of speculations of a movie based on a very famous video game called Legend of Zelda. It shouldn't be a cartoon movie. It should be movies with real life person. It should be a trilogy like the Lord of the Rings or Tomb Raider. I mean John Williams, who composed the music for many famous movies like Star Wars, Superman, etc did a composition for Zelda already so they already have the signature music to the title. All they need are millions of dollars to make special effects and actors and actresses. I wondered who should be Link and who should be Zelda? I know there's other people wanted a Legend of Zelda movie so why wouldnt they put this project on production? I can gaurenteed you they will makemillions of dollars and people will line up like they did for the star war movies. Orlando Bloom in lord of the rings remind me of Link but I think they should get a more masculine actor for Link. Do you guys think they are working on this title for the near future?

It's always tricky trying to adapt one type of medium into another. And with such an established video game dynasty as the Zelda series, with legions of opinionated fans, someone would be unhappy with the outcome no matter what.

Wow... what an interesting idea. I don't think I have ever thought about this one. My only reservation is that for anyone who is familiar with the game they should know that at times it can be a plodding, quest oriented game, as opposed to more fast paced video games.

Orlando Bloom would be TOO obvious of a choice. People associate him so much with the sword and sandals epics that it might backfire on the casting team.
The other casting issue is that Link is actually a young boy. He is portrayed as either around 10 or 17-18 in the games. God PLEASE don't have Shia LaBeuf(sp) do this movie.

The title character, Zelda, is actually a minor player in the game although I am sure IDIOT producers would want to give her a bigger part to broaden the audience. Casting wise you can pretty much throw anyone in there for her. She is essentially eye candy and a reason for playing. She doesn't actually play a role in the gameplay.

I think they should make a movie. I am also a fan of the game myself. I wonder who would play Link. Well, but it would be terrible if they made the movie link "Eragon". That movie potrayed the book in many ways. Oh well, can't do anything about that now since it's the past. I would like it a lot if they did that. I would so go.

Wow a Zelda fan.... well that would be a great idea and i hope they would make a movie out of it, but i have a feeling it would not be very succesful, as for who should play Link... Tobey magiure probably because the Spiderman character he plays comes from quite a poor unpopular background, compared to that of superman or batman, that might relate a little to Link's background. And for Zelda, i dont have a clue who...

I love these games. However, I'd be very skeptical about making a movie out of it. Most movies based on video games are usually a big bag of suck. (Bloodrayne, Silent Hill, Resident Evil...)
If they can get it right, it would be awesome.
