If you asking yourself that question, you probably shouldn't expand at all...

This decision is a very Important for your business and the way you look about your business and it's based on your business and what type of business it is ..so when you want to make like these critical decisions you must make a lots of calculations about how much this new business will cost you and how much it will make you profit and if its worth it or not to invest on expanding your business because some times when you do this you will pay more of what you will get in return (im not talking about the money factor only here) there will be cost of effort and time you are going to spend ,so what most managers do in these situations is that they calculate the ROI (Return On Investment) and the Cost of the Added Value and many other things your accountant knows about them and can help you for taking that decision .

And your decision also will depend on what think about your business in the future and if you are willing to sacrifice your cash for more profits in the future or not ..

At the end its your decision to make BUT you have to study it more before you take this action ...

Good luck .

It's too vague of a question.

If you see no need to expand your business, then by all means - don't.

If you're trying to justify your reasons for trying to expand your business - all reasoning is probably valid unless it is harmful to you or others in any way - physically, emotionally, mentally & spiritually.

Most reasons for expansion is just to get more of the same!
