i need to know where the Buffer Amplifier for the speedometer is exactly, and what it looks like. it is not behind the glove box

hi there!

on that particular model: the buffer is located inside the instrument cluster.

call this phone number to get more information. all they do is repair GM INSTRUMENT CLUSTERS.

The Vehicle Speed Sensor Input Buffer is located in the Instrument Cluster on the Circuit Board.

They sell complete auto guides at auto parts stores. They are called Haynes Manuals. They should have one for that make and year. You can go to

Call the dealer, most of them will tell you where to find it. You could actually go to the dealer, and get a look at a new one for your vehicle, and see its placement from their computerized parts book.
