Wal-Mart wouldn't let me buy 2 action figures because of this

Happened to me too. Had every single one of the villains in the line ready to go and they wouldn't let me buy them. There's a few possibilities: The figures were put out before their street date and wal-mart realized the goof and is waiting to sell them until then, they caused a choking hazzard to kids (for example, Green Goblin's Pumpkin Bombs) and need to be re-packaged without the hazardous pieces or the plastic contains known carcinogens (the rule on what type of plastic is allowed in Ca. is pretty stringent and other states are catching up). I talked to the management there and according to them they LEGALLY can't sell something marked for recall so my advice is keep checking back and hope that it was just a street date mixup. Now that I've had time to think about it, I may not even buy them because they are too small compared to Marvel Legends scale figures.
