Considering the way you phrased you question, I believe you already know the answer! Push-up bras, as everyone above the age of puberty knows, are not at all about comfort. They are also not a form of false advertising. To use a phrase common in retail, it is all about visual merchandising. These bras are a way to display the goods in the best possible manner for the best possible results! By the way, my dear, if a woman was seeking "comfort" in a bra, she would opt for a t-shirt bra.

It depends on the reason that a woman wants to wear it...The push-up is definately for advertisement because women want to show off their cleavage and have it look PERKY. The padding can be used by those that belong to the LBTC (Little Bitty Titty Club), but I wear a D cup and I sometimes wear them with certain shirts so that if I get cold, you can't see my nipples through my shirt. But either way, they aren't comfortable. The only comfortable bras are Victorias Secret Secret Embrace, or none at all.

False advertising. But you know its not that bad. A padded push up bra does not really make THAT much of a difference

I think the padded part is for comfort and the push up part is for looks, not false advertising

It is to make a woman feel more confident about her looks if she is not well endowed and for others who just want to look sexier. As far as false advertizing goes, if you have any idea what it's like to have pressure on you to look a certain way as a wopman then maybe you wouldn't call it as such. Hopefully you aren't as shallow as that to just go with someone because of the size of their boobs. Bras are NOTcomfortable and if you think that I sound bitter, well, I am a little

False advertising... although the extra padding keeps them warmer in the winter.

Comfort???? Since when are bras comfortable? They're not even anywhere close to comfortable. Its false advertising for sure! And I'm proud to say I don't need one, mine are the perfect size! ;)

the padding is designed to keep the headlights dim when you fellas turn on the charm...we can't give away ALL of our secrets...and the push-up part is designed to keep your attention...

clearly, the padded push up bra was designed by a very smart woman...

The only padding I use in a bra is to keep the T.H.O. under control.
