In fall 2007, i will be going off to college at UMSL and i have no idea what im going to study. I know it's fine NOT to know what you're going to do but i want some ideas of careers relating to my interests. I have considered being a graphic designer but i want to make a little more money than that. THEN i thought about indutrial design but the college MAY or MAY not offer that. Then i thought about something in marketing and advertising and i am still thinking about that. I like computers but i'm not a mathaholic. Math is my least favorite subject and English and Art are my best subjects. Can anyone recommend some majors or careers that pertain to my interests. Thanks in Advance

I really advise taking a lot of solid liberal arts courses your first semester or two. Take things that you haven't had before, like sociology, anthropology, women's studies, etc. You might find a passion that you haven't even considered. That's what happened to me in college-- I went in thinking I was going to major in theatre or communications, but I ended up with history and classical languages (and yes, I'm gainfully employed). Don't worry about making lots of money-- if you're smart and clever, the money will come.
