300 is a Racist movie for 10 reasons.
1. All the bad guys are either minorities or diseased and disabled.
2. Persians treat women as sex objects or second class citizens who do not have an opinion. Greeks listen to their wives.
3. Greeks are strategists. Persian Generals are stupid.
4. If Persians had such a big army made of slaves, who were being oppressed, why didn't they ever revolt?
5. All the Persian archers couldn't get one arrow straight.
6. Persians built a vast empire through treachery, slavery and oppression.
7. Greek soldies look smart. Persian soldiers look ugly.
8. Greeks are straight. Persians are confused.
9. Persian emissaries have no manners.
10. Even nature supports Greeks.

Anything White people do is racist, the best and easiest excuse in the book. Here is a history lesson to my Non-European friends:
Though Persia was an advanced civilization, they were brutal, and enslaved, raped, pillaged as much as other ancient empires. They had a fierce, advanced army and the Greek army, weakened and demoralized, managed to defeat them. This is what 300 is about. 300 Makes me proud.
Persia, Islam, the Moors, Arabs... have never been innocent. Starting in 780AD they raped the entire Mediterranean for close to1000 years. Where’s my 40 acres and a mule? ...Being of Southern Italian/Sicilian background, I know what I am talking about. The Saracens have always been brutal and vile. Every White person, particularly Whites of Southern Europe should embrace the film '300'!

im brown and ive seen it.. i dont think its racist. i think the reason why the persians look savage and gruesome is because the story was from a greek's point of view. remember the greeks hated the persians that is why they see them as monsters.. and besides, in the film, there are also monsters in the side of sparta, one was even part of the spartan army.

LOL!
Finally! someone that saw the same biased things in the movie like I did!
I mean, Xerxes looked like a drag queen for Pete's sake! what was that???
Plus, the Spartans, who would murder tiny infants and take away children from the age of 7 from their mothers......gee I wonder what manner of abuse those children had to endure, having no one to protect them!
.... now, 'cause they were being attacked by "The Persians", the Spartans are now the moral pinnacle of good?
Ha Ha Ha!-------- pardon me, I had to laugh at that! :)

movies never portray history correctly, get over it. i liked it. it was just a movie, good entertainment. hey we have young men and women doing the same right now so we can debate the fact that the movie was wrong. at the time the Spartans were the greatest war machine on the face of the planet. they trained from youth so they could defend their beliefs.

Didn't think of it in that way. The only racial reference I noticed was when the queen said only spartan women give birth to real men.
Overall, the movie was visually entertaining. The plot, in my opinion, was a bit weak. But it's definitely worth seeing on the big screen.

it's a piece of crap. there was no freedom or democracy in Sparta or Greece. Anyone who has heard the director or the author speak knows that both have an anti-eastern bias. And they used this movie to express this bias.

damn, i'm black and in no way seen it that way. i assume you have a factor, yet i'm in order that ill of racism and bias, that I even tend to block it out. White human beings hating blacks, blacks hating white human beings, I recommend, is it rather that severe? not attempting to evangelise, yet existence is to short for that BS. besides, i assumed the action picture became into good, and no count if the racial differences have been intentional or not, we will in no way recognize, enable's wish not nonetheless

Omg JUST WATCH THE MOVIE! I think it had a lot of reference and metaphors of the war we are in now (war on terror) But if you want action its there but I will warn you that it is pretty gruesome at times.

I believe that in this movie, there are some racism often found, but I don't think the writers purposely intended to do so, it just went along with the script, which is also unacceptable.
