I've had painful ones and no-pain-at-all ones. The key here is that you had them way back on Saturday and that they're not still going on regularly, more intensely OR getting stronger and closer together.

You're fine. It happens. Congratulations!!

Don't worry...Yes you are having Braxton Hicks Contractions or Round ligament pains, which is when your uterus is stretching, to make more room for baby and your baby is moving around. I am 29 weeks pregnant and started feeling those pains at about 24 weeks. I was so scared at first, cause I always heard Braxton Hicks were NOT suppose to be painful, but they were!!! It felt like everytime I moved someone was cutting me up from the inside! I still get these pretty much every day. They should only last about 30-60 seconds and be rhymthic. You are not the only ones with these pains, yes they hurt! But it is just your bodies way of getting ready for baby! Remember these pains and just know that actual labor pains will be 100000000 times more painful! Congratulations and Good luck!!

They can feel quite painful, mine did on and off with both of my pregancys.
Another reason for them being painful can also be to do with dehydration so make sure drink plenty of fluids.Dont know why this happens but it is infact true.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and the birth. All the best.

Braxton hicks can feel quite uncomfortable but this is very normal, speak to your midwife if you are feeling worried and try not to be too anxious about them.

I have had both, this is my second. I have just that annoying tighening feeling and then there is the cramp feeling. sometimes they don't bother me but other times i can't move. alot of people have them and don't even know about it (lucky). you need to ask yourself how long they lasted, how frequent were they and how long the contractions continued. make sure your drinking a lot of water-sometimes being dehydrated casues contractions, and when you get them and they are bad like that try doing the opposite activity (like if your walking - rest, if your laying down - get up and walk)
