up to her comfort level. I tried going without one my first time- big embarrassing moment at school and I was a tampon girl ever since. Have her start with the smallest ones out there and make sure she reads the literature.

Totally wait. She should get used to having a period first before she tries tampons.

wait a few months, deff. i personally waited about a year. she would be so light because she just started, the tampon might hurt her. she doesnt have to wait a year, but i suggest about 4 months, or around summer time when she has to go to the pool.

It is best to use pads at first....after a few months or a year or whenever she feels comfortable, she can start to use tampns. I would reccomend Playtex Slimfits because they are nice and small and don't hurt for first time users!

She can begin using a tampon whenever she's ready, they make tiny one's for beginners, just look for teen tampon's by Tampax or Playtex. This make it easy to adjust.
