Universities normally do help individuals sign up for classes appropriate for what they want their degree in. I would take classes that include science, math, human growth and development. Things like that should help.

Good luck :)

Most med schools have required classes, but you will have to get very good grades. Check out a med school web-site for the required science and math classes. Also, you college should have a pre-med counselor, who will help you make sure you take the right classes. Remember, it is very competitive and good grades are a MUST.

My advice to you is to retake the ACT and take as many (and as high level as you can) science and math courses. When you get to college, make sure to see an academic counselor. Usually you will have a chance to meet with one before you sign up for your freshman classes. It's not a bad idea to sit down with your high school guidance counselor as well for help choosing the correct college for you. Good Luck!

you can major in anything, but make sure you take the pre-requisites for medical school. also contact the school of your preference and find out the specifics. there are general classes like biology, chemistry, and physics that every school requires, but others may require more.
