I hope the question is what makes cooking so appealing. I would say that first of all it can bring a family together. Many mothers/fathers cook with their children making memories and passing down recipies from one generation to another. Another reason some people find cooking so appealing is the chance to create something. A lot of people who cook enjoy the making of something and the creation of their own. Where else can you expirment with out someone being harmed. I love to try to make new dishes and try out new things. Cooking also relives stress and makes for a great way to start winding the night down. Plus with cooking there are no rules! You can try whatver you want! I would also say that people find cooking so appealing because well cooking your own food is more healthy than eating than eating out. I hope this helps you get started on your essay!

You can probably search the web to find research information or some of the cooking shows on TV. I have heard chefs say that the looks of what you cook attribute to it's appeal. By this I mean the variety of color, such as green vegetable, sliced tomatoes, yellow squash, brown rice and then whatever meat. I've heard that the more variety of color the more nutritious the meal. Check it out and see what you find.

Answer these questions and you will have your essay:
Do you eat? Do you eat everything raw? Why not? How do you cook things? Why ?
Do you like art? Do you think art makes your life better? Do you like to use your imagination?
Do you get bored with meat and potatoes? Is eating a pleasure to you and your family and friends? Is eating good for you?
How else could you get all your vitamins and minerals. protein and fiber? Would that be better? Why? or Why not?
Does fun appeal to people? Is cooking fun? Can it be? How could it be fun?
What do you like to eat? or cook? Have you ever cooked for someone and they just loved it? Have you ever cooked for someone and they thought it disgusting? How did you feel?

when it all comes down to it i think its the praise you get from everyone who eats the cooking even yourself that makes it so good lol, but there is science, math and art are all involved, being creative ,the feeling of nurturing comes out , its therapeutic . you cant worry or be board when mixing up something good to chomp on. when a friend of mine has something pressing on her mind she bakes so she can get away from thinking on it so much then when she goes back to the problem it looks different. the feeling of accomplishment plays in it,you save money by cooking it your self. and you can make it how you like it ,one of the biggest social things there is is eating together people really come together for just that, family's ,dates are often spent eating ,workers so when it all come down to it food makes the world tic. look at big Italian family's a lot of them cook together,so do moms and kids, husbands and wives.its age old thing i think its about nurturing .........read this as well she has a few ideas that might be a good idea read some cooking sites there are lots of things there good luck
