Yahoo would only monitor your usage of Yahoo. If you do not go to a Yahoo site, they can not monitor you.
Your ISP can (and does) monitor everywhere you go. But they can not release that information without a court order.
Your parents can monitor your internet usage through the History, temp files, and other methods - if they want.

Every place you go to on the internet has a log of what you've done. Example when you've posted this question more than likely they've gathered your ip along with browser version etc. If your not doing anything wrong then don't worry about it.
