When should I cut back my Maiden Hair and other grasses in my garden?

I live in Northwest Indiana, and I don't want to do it too soon, since we may get some more snow, and cold weather.

we live in minnesota and I go in and clip down stuff and remove the dead in april... but am careful not to disturb the surface coverings on plants as we can still get that late frost into May. I would think you are probably about 2 weeks-month earlier than us tho... so would think it would be safe in a couple weeks!
